Hi - I am Elizabeth.

​As many women do, I wear a lot of hats - the most important one being that of Mom to two gorgeous kiddos (age 12 and 10), wife and daughter. I also work full-time, am head chef, chief financial officer, schedule organiser, chauffeur, planning queen, house maid and everything in-between! But in the middle of all this I realised I had lost myself along the way, and I know many other Mom's feel the same way; so I made a decision to change the trajectory and rediscover my passions; and I hope by doing so, I can encourage others to reignite their own passions and be brave enough to forge a new path forward.

Why I Write 

​

I have always had a strong, intrinsic urge to put pen to paper. Crafting articles and looking into area's of interest allows me to channel my creative energy while also providing a framework for processing my passions and finally figuring out who I am!

​

I began publishing my writing online with the hope that it will encourage budding writers to develop their voices, and other Mom's to carve out time for themselves and follow their dreams. Today, in addition to being an outlet for my own work, To Find A Silver Lining includes articles on areas of interest, a chance to explore old and new passions, work through my latest thoughts and theories, and so much more.

In my spare time I also like to read, write, take walks and photograph the sky, water and nature in whatever form I find it (including my kiddos)! So you will find articles in here on many things, as I am a multi-faceted person, but I hope you find something here that resonates with you and encourages you back.
